The business unit was founded on Capsugel legacy formulation expertise and manufacturing capability in functional capsule and lipid/liquid/semi-solid fill technologies. The acquisitions of Encap Drug Delivery, Bend Research, Xcelience and Powdersize have greatly enhanced our technology breadth, depth of expertise, and manufacturing capability from early feasibility studies through clinical and commercial supply of finished dosage forms.
